India Kids

Our place, India Kids, is located over at Quarter 10 in the Rh-Iv area of Vashi. It is a residential part of Navi Mumbai, so it is usually a bit calmer than the main market areas. We started this because there was a need for a spot in Vashi where kids could spend their day. The setup is quite basic. We have a few rooms dedicated to different activities. Most of the children live nearby in the other quarters. It feels more like a community gathering than a formal office or school sometimes. We have some mats on the floor and some shelves for books and toys. The light comes in nicely through the windows in the afternoon. We spend the hours playing, eating, and doing some basic learning activities. It is not a very large space, so we have to keep things tidy, which is hard with small children running around. Most of the staff live in Navi Mumbai too, so we know the neighborhood well. Sometimes we take the kids outside for a bit of fresh air if the weather is okay. We don't use any big marketing tricks or anything like that. People just hear about us from their neighbors. It is just a practical place for families in Vashi who need a bit of help during the day. We are just here doing our job and looking after the little ones until the parents come back home.
