You can find us at Office No 299 on the first floor of the D Wing in Vashi Plaza. This is Sector No 17 in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, which is a pretty crowded spot with lots of shops and offices. Swami Vivekanand College Of Distance Education operates out of this office. Since it is distance education, we don't have hundreds of students sitting in classrooms here every day. Instead, it is more about the paperwork, the books, and the people who come in to ask about courses. The office is often full of files and stacks of forms. We have a few desks where we sit and talk to anyone who walks in from the 400703 area or arrives from further away in Maharashtra. Vashi Plaza is an old building, so it can be a bit confusing to find the right wing if you aren't used to it. We just spend our days answering the phone and helping people figure out their distance learning schedules. It’s a practical setup. There aren't any fancy lounges or corporate lobbies here. It is just an office where work gets done. Sometimes the corridors are a bit dark, but we keep our door open. Most people find us because they want to study while they are working, and we just provide the materials and the registration support they need to do that.
