College Of Information Technology

Our college is located on the second floor of the Om Rachana building in Sector 17, Vashi. It is a busy part of Navi Mumbai, so there is always something going on downstairs. We have several rooms set up with computers and desks for the students who come here to learn about technology. Since we are in a commercial building, it feels more like a workplace than a traditional school with a big playground. The students usually arrive by train or bus and take the stairs up to A 201. We spend our days teaching things like programming, hardware, and how to use different software packages. The labs are the most important part of the place, and we try to keep the machines running well, even when the software gets glitchy. Our instructors are people who know their way around a computer and don't mind explaining things twice if someone is stuck. It is a quiet environment for the most part, except for the sound of typing and the occasional discussion about a project. We don't have a big canteen, so most students go out to the local shops during their lunch breaks. It is a straightforward setup for anyone who wants to pick up some technical skills without any extra fluff. We focus on the screen and the keyboard, making sure the students understand what they are doing before they head out into the job market. It is a simple place that gets the job done.
