Multichem Industries

Multichem Industries is based out of Sanpada in Navi Mumbai. We are in C 502 of the Sun Palm View building. It’s a decent spot that’s not too far from the station, so the commute isn't the worst compared to some other parts of Mumbai. The office has a lot of natural light coming in during the day, which helps keep things from feeling too cramped. We have rows of filing cabinets that are probably fuller than they should be, and the desks are usually covered in various papers and pens. You can feel the breeze coming off the water sometimes if the windows are open, though the dust usually means we keep them shut. The building has a lot of other businesses and families, so it’s a busy environment from morning until night. We usually have a kettle going for tea, and there’s always someone coming in or out with some files. It’s a very functional space without any of the fancy glass partitions you see in the new office parks. We just focus on the daily tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. There is a small couch in the corner that nobody ever sits on because it’s covered in old trade magazines. We’ve been here for a while and the routine of the Sanpada area has become part of our daily lives. It’s just how we do things here.
