The office is located at Plot No-411, inside the Arenja Corner building. This is over in Sector-17 Vashi, which is always a hive of activity. You can see people rushing around everywhere here. We are just one of many businesses in this block. Mc-Bauchemie (India) Private Limited occupies this space, and it’s mostly where the planning and the paperwork happen. It’s not like a factory floor; it’s more about the phones ringing and people sitting at desks. The elevators in Arenja Corner can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we usually take the stairs if we are in a hurry. Sector-17 is great because you can find anything you need within a few minutes’ walk, though finding a parking spot is a whole different story. We have some plants in the corner of the room that someone forgets to water sometimes, but they manage to survive. The windows look out over the street, and we can watch the traffic jam up every afternoon. It’s a standard office setup with computers and stacks of files that never seem to get smaller. We work on construction chemicals, so there’s always some technical talk going on in the background. It’s a professional environment but we keep it casual among ourselves. Most of us have been working here together for quite a while now. We just come in, do what needs to be done for the projects, and then head home when the lights in the other offices start turning off.
