Kool Kids

Kool Kids is at Shop-1 in the Shiv Darshan society. We are in Sector 4 of Sanpada East. The best way to find us is to look for Badhai Sweet, as we are right opposite that shop. Sanpada is a fairly quiet area compared to other parts of Navi Mumbai. Being in a shop-front means we are right on the ground level. You can see the people walking by on the sidewalk. We have a big glass front that we covered up halfway so the kids don't get too distracted. Inside, we have a few tables and chairs that are the right size for four-year-olds. We also have a shelf where everyone keeps their water bottles. It is a simple setup. We spend the morning doing basic numbers and alphabets. Sometimes we let them play with the play-dough, which always ends up stuck in the carpet somehow. We try to scrape it out when we can. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot days, we also use the ceiling fans to keep the air moving. Since we are right across from the sweet shop, sometimes the smell of fried snacks drifts over in the afternoon. It makes everyone hungry. We have been in this spot for a while now, and most people in Shiv Darshan know us. It is just a small, local place for kids to be while their parents are busy.
