B.M. Chapalkar & Sons

B.M. Chapalkar & Sons is situated at 11-A in the Archit Estate, over in Mogal Nagar, Kamatwade. It is a family-run kind of place, which you can probably tell from the name on the door. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of branches all over the country. We just have this one spot where we keep our inventory and run the business day by day. The estate is usually busy with other small businesses, so there’s a lot of coming and going of delivery vans and people looking for various parts. Our office is fairly plain. We’ve got some old chairs, a few filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a calendar on the wall that we forget to flip sometimes. We do our best to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, papers tend to pile up everywhere on the desks. Most of us have been working here together for years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signs. We’d rather just focus on what needs to be done each morning. The weather here can be a bit dry, so we keep a water cooler in the corner that gets a lot of use during the afternoons. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to be helpful to whoever stops by. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and we don't plan on changing how we do things.
