Yashwant Education Foundation

Yashwant Education Foundation is based out of Bhakshi, which is a small place in Satana taluka. We are located at Survey Number 111. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Nashik city, but we like it out here. The air is cleaner and it’s a lot quieter than the big towns. We deal with education matters for the people around here. Most of us grew up in this part of Maharashtra and we wanted to stay and do something locally. It isn't always easy working in a rural area because sometimes the power goes out or the roads are a bit rough after the monsoon. But we have our office set up and we show up every morning to get things done. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just focus on the schools and the students in the Satana area. Our building is simple, nothing too modern, just a practical space where we can meet and talk. We spend a lot of time traveling between villages to see how things are going. Sometimes we have tea with the local teachers and listen to what they need. It’s a slow process, but we are okay with that. We just want to keep helping out where we can without making a big fuss about it. That’s basically who we are and what we do every day without fail.
