Vinayak Glass & Aluminium

We are over at Shop No.3 in the Amiraj Co-Operative Society. It’s right on Ambad Link Road, just across from Roongta Mall. If you see the mall, you can’t miss us. We do a lot of glass and aluminium work. The shop is usually full of offcuts and frames leaning against the walls. It’s not the most organized looking place, but it works for what we do. There is always the sound of cutting or grinding going on. We spend most of our time measuring things out and making sure the edges are smooth. Sometimes we have to go out to people's houses to install windows or doors. It’s a lot of manual labor and carrying heavy sheets of glass, which is always a bit nerve-wracking. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while now. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. We just show people samples of the frames we have in the back. It’s a straightforward business. We talk to the customers, give them a price, and get to work. Most days we are covered in a bit of metal dust. It’s just the nature of the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to do the work right and move on to the next task. Sometimes we stay open a bit late to finish a frame.
