R R Aluminium & Glass is situated right on Gaulana Main Road, very close to Pathardi Phata and the ST Bus Stand. It is a busy location, and the sound of buses pulling in and out is something we hear all day long. We spend our time working with two main things: aluminum sections and big sheets of glass. It is a job that requires a lot of patience because if you rush a cut or handle a glass pane too roughly, you end up with a mess of shards on the floor. Our workshop is usually cluttered with offcuts and various tools like glass cutters and drills. We make things like office partitions, shop fronts, and basic home windows. It is heavy, physical work, especially when we have to carry large pieces of glass up several flights of stairs at a job site. We don't have any polished sales pitches or a fancy office for meetings. Most of our customers just walk in off the street because they need a mirror replaced or a sliding door fixed. We are usually covered in a bit of dust and maybe some silicone sealant by lunchtime. It is just the way the job is. We have been part of this neighborhood for quite a while, and people know they can find us here six days a week. We just focus on cutting the glass straight and making sure the frames are sturdy enough for daily use.
