Jalaram Aluminium & Glass

Our shop is No. 06 in the Sitaram Complexnear Shiva Hotel. We are right across from the Shri Krishna Mangal Karyalaya on Dindori Road. It is a very busy part of Mhasrul in Nashik. You can usually hear us from the street because of the sound of glass being cut or the metal frames being moved around. It is heavy work and our hands usually have a few small cuts on them by the end of the week. We have large sheets of glass leaning against the walls, so we have to be very careful when we walk around. The aluminum sections are stacked in the corner according to their size and color. When there is a wedding at the Karyalaya across the road, the traffic gets really bad and it is hard to load our delivery van. We just have to be patient and wait for a gap. People come to us when they are building a new house or if a window at their place got broken. We don't have a big showroom with fancy lights or decorations. It is just a practical space where we do the cutting and the joining. Most of the time it is just the two of us working here. We have a small desk for the bills but it is usually covered in measuring tapes and pencils. It is a straightforward business and we just take it one job at a time without any rush.
