Uday Mens Parlour

Uday Mens Parlour is tucked away at 384 Ghankar Lane in the Raviwar Peth area of Nashik. It’s an old part of the city with narrow lanes and a lot of history. We are quite close to the Saibaba Temple, so you might hear the bells or see the devotees walking past our door quite often. The shop has been here for years, and it feels like part of the neighborhood fabric. I took over the place and kept it going just like it was before. It’s a small room with a few mirrors and the usual barber chairs that have seen better days but still work fine. Men from Raviwar Peth come in for their weekly shave or a monthly haircut. It’s the kind of place where people don't mind waiting a few minutes because they can chat with the person next to them. I don't use any fancy marketing tricks or big posters. The shop name is just painted on the front. We do basic cuts, nothing too experimental unless someone really asks for it. The air in the lane is always filled with the smell of the market and the temple incense. I like being in this part of Nashik because it feels real and lived-in. Running this parlour isn't about getting rich, it's just about providing a service to the local guys who have been coming here since they were boys. It’s just us doing our thing daily.
