Mugdha Nx The Beauty Salon is found at Shop No 2 in the Diparti Apartment. We are on Gangapur Road in Nashik, right across from Bohara Park. It’s a pretty part of town with a lot of trees. The salon is small and cozy. I have a few girls who work with me. We focus on making sure everyone who walks in feels welcome. It’s not a corporate setup with uniforms and strict rules. We wear our own clothes and talk to customers like friends. Often, the salon is full of laughter. We do a lot of threadings and hair coloring. The smell of the products is something you just get used to. I keep a small radio in the corner playing old songs. It fills the silence when we aren't talking. The view of Bohara Park is nice, especially in the mornings. Sometimes customers go for a walk in the park after they finish here. We have a lot of regular ladies from the nearby buildings. They bring us snacks sometimes. I keep the appointments in a big diary with a pen tied to it so it doesn't get lost. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We don't need much else. Just our tools and a bit of space to work. The sign outside needs a bit of paint, but everyone knows where we are anyway.
