The Hair Studio

The Hair Studio is found at Shop 1/2 in the Symphony Apartment building on Gangapur Road in Nashik. We are right opposite Madhur Sweets in the Savarkar Nagar area. The sweet shop across the street is a busy place, so there are always people crossing back and forth. Gangapur Road is one of those parts of Nashik that always has something going on. Our shop is a simple space where we do haircuts and styling. It is split into two sections because of the shop layout in the apartment building. We have lived with the squeaky front door for a while now and the mirrors have a few smudges that we are always wiping off. It is just a place where the local crowd from Savarkar Nagar comes to get their hair taken care of. We don't do anything complicated. We just show up, open the shop, and wait for the regulars to arrive. Sometimes it is very quiet, and we just sit and watch the traffic on Gangapur Road. Other times, it gets packed and everyone has to wait their turn. We keep a few old magazines around for that. The walls are a plain color, and we have the usual equipment you would expect in a neighborhood studio. It is just a practical spot where we do our daily work and talk to the people who live nearby.
