We are located at Plot No. 80 near Sawarkar Chowk in the Panchwati area. Su-Sanket Glass And Aluminium Works is close to the Swami Samarth Mandir in Madhuban Colony. The neighborhood is usually quiet, though you might hear the temple bells from time to time. Our workspace is essentially a large garage where we store all our metal sections and glass supplies. We have different types of glass and aluminum piled up against the walls. It isn't a place for browsing or looking at catalogs; it’s where we do the actual making and cutting. The work is physically hard, as we have to lift heavy sheets and ensure everything is perfectly level. My hands usually have small cuts or scratches from the metal edges, but that’s just part of being in this trade. We don't have a website or do any advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or a friend told them about us. We spend much of our time out on job sites, but we always come back here for the assembly part. The light in the early morning is the best for seeing the fine details on the metal. We usually have a pot of tea or coffee going to keep us alert. It’s a very basic workshop and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. We just show up every morning, do the work, and try to keep ourselves busy with new orders.
