Smitaas Beauty Parlour

I have been running Smitaas Beauty Parlour in the Cidco area of Nashik for a long time. The shop is right by Trimurti Chawk, which is always full of people and noise from the rickshaws. It is a small place, and it can get pretty warm when we have a few ladies waiting. I have a couple of old chairs and a big mirror that has a small crack in the corner, but it still works fine. Most of the women who come in live just a few streets away, so we end up talking a lot about our families and what is happening in the neighborhood. We do threading, waxing, and basic hair stuff. I do not have fancy lighting or any of that music you hear in big malls. Usually, we just have the news on the small TV or we just chat. During the wedding season, the floor is always covered in hair and bits of thread, and I am always rushing to keep it tidy. The electricity in Cidco can be a bit unreliable, so we sometimes have to work by the light from the door. I use products that I know are good and that people around here can afford. It is a simple life running this shop. It is not glamorous, but it is my own business and I know my customers well.
