Shri Vanita Printers

Shri Vanita Printers is tucked away over at Plot No.69 in the Sicof 384 area of M.I.D.C. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly factories and workshops around us. We spend most of our time around the smell of ink and the sound of the printing presses running. It’s a noisy place when everything is going at once, but you get used to the rhythm after a while. We started out with just a couple of machines and slowly added more as things moved along. Printing isn’t as easy as it looks; there’s always something that needs adjusting or a paper jam that slows us down. We do all sorts of jobs, from small flyers to bigger runs for companies nearby. The floor usually has some scraps on it and there’s always a bit of ink on someone’s hands. That is just how it goes when you’re actually working. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the shop floor to talk to us. We’ve been in M.I.D.C. long enough to know the local rhythms and the guys at the tea stall down the road. It’s honest work and we like seeing the finished stacks of paper ready to be sent out. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch, but that’s just part of the job. It is a bit messy but we get it done.
