Sai Bhushan Hair Arts

Vani is a quiet place most of the time, and my shop sits right on the Main Road leading out towards Pimpalgaon. Sai Bhushan Hair Arts has been here in the Dindori taluka for quite a while now. It is not a very big shop, just a single room where I do hair and shaves for the local men. The road outside can get extremely dusty, especially when those big trucks go by on their way to Nashik. I find myself cleaning the glass counter and the mirrors every few hours just to keep things looking decent. People from the nearby farms and the village area come in throughout the day. They are not looking for anything stylish or strange, just a clean cut so they look alright for the week. I still use the same chairs I got when I first started this business. They are comfortable enough for a short sit. Sometimes the power goes out in Vani, and we just have to wait it out or I move the chair closer to the front door where the light is better. I do not have a big sign with flashing lights, just a simple painted board. Most people around here know me by name anyway. I usually keep some old newspapers around for people to read while they are waiting their turn. Life moves slowly here and that is okay with me.
