You can find Ratandeep Hardware & Paint right near the taxi stand in Ghoti village. We are out here in Igatpuri taluka, which is a nice area but can get very rainy in the monsoon. Being near the taxi stand means there are always people around and drivers stopping for a chat. Our shop isn't very large. We keep the paint cans stacked up and the hardware tools in the bins where we can reach them. It gets a bit crowded inside when we have more than two or three people at the counter. We’ve been here in Ghoti for years. Most of our customers are locals from the village or people passing through the taluka. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. If someone needs a specific color of paint, we mix it right there. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust because of the road outside. We try to keep it clean but it’s a hardware store, so perfection isn't really the goal. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s a quiet life mostly. We don't have big sales or fancy displays. We just have what people need for their houses. Sometimes the cows wander past the shop front while we are working. That's just how it is here in the village.
