Jayesh Trading

Jayesh Trading is out in Ghoti Kh Village. We are part of the Igatpuri Tehsil in the Nashik District. If you know the area, you probably know the Shivaji Statue; we are located quite close to that landmark. Being in Ghoti means we are surrounded by the hills and it gets very rainy during the monsoon season. We do a lot of trading of various goods and it involves a lot of loading and unloading. We get our mail at the Ghoti Post Office which is just down the way. It’s a working-class area and we fit right in with the other warehouses and shops. The work is mostly about logistics and making sure things get from one place to another without too much trouble. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who are passing through Nashik. The office isn't anything special, just a desk and some chairs and a lot of ledgers. We don't really have a big staff, just a few people who have been with us for years. We've seen the village change a bit over time, but it’s still mostly the same old Ghoti. We don't do much advertising because most people who need us already know where we are. We just try to keep our head down and get the trading done every day of the week.
