Rajashree Vineyards Private Limited is located in Bhaxi, which is part of the Satana taluka. We operate out of the property owned by Rajeshree Rajendra Gaikwad. This area is known for its land and what it can grow. We aren't a big commercial winery with a tasting room and fancy labels. Mostly, we are just focused on the land and the grapes. Growing grapes takes a lot of time and you are always at the mercy of the rain. If it rains too much or too little, the whole year can be a struggle. We spend most of our days out in the fields rather than sitting in an office. There is always a fence to fix or a row to prune. We don't have a big corporate structure. It is mainly a family-run thing where everyone chips in when it's harvest time. The address is just a simple house and some land. We don't have a shiny website or a social media manager. We just sell our produce to the people who buy in bulk for juice or table grapes. Sometimes we have a bad season and we just have to deal with it. It’s not a perfect life, but we like being outdoors and working with our hands. We just keep doing the work, year after year, and hope for a decent crop. That is pretty much the whole story of our business here in Bhaxi. It's hard work, but we like the quiet.
