Raj Hair Dressers (A/C)

We are located over in the Laxminarayan Complex, right on the lane that used to have the old police station. It's a decent spot in Panchavati Karanja here in Nashik. The shop is small but we made sure to put in the air conditioning because the heat can get pretty bad around here in the afternoons. You’ll see the sign from the street, and once you walk in, it’s mostly just the sound of the clippers and the hum of the AC unit. We have a few chairs lined up against the mirrors. There is usually a pile of old newspapers on the side table for people waiting. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so we are always sweeping it up between jobs. It smells like talcum powder and sometimes that strong herbal oil people like. We don’t do anything too complicated, just regular haircuts and shaves. Most of the people who come in are folks from around the neighborhood or people passing through the market area. It's a simple setup with a lot of light from the front windows. We keep things going from morning until late evening. It isn’t a fancy place with a bunch of products on the walls, just the basics for getting a haircut. The Old Police Station Lane stays busy with bikes, so there is always something to look at through the door while we work.
