Omkar Tea Company

Our business, Omkar Tea Company, is located in the Kishori Building. We are at House No-73/27. It is right across from the Ghantaghar Tower, which is a big landmark here. You can’t miss the tower when you are walking down the street. Being in this building is convenient for us. We have been here for a while and the space suits the way we work. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has character. We spend our time sorting through tea and making sure the packets are ready for whoever needs them. It’s mostly just a few of us working inside. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace for our daily tasks. The view of Ghantaghar Tower is something we see every single day. The traffic outside can be quite loud, especially in the afternoons, but inside we just focus on the tea. We get our shipments in and then we get straight to work. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't use any complicated machines or corporate language. We just call things as they are. If someone asks where we are, we just say look for Kishori Building near the tower. It’s a reliable spot. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood and wouldn't really want to be anywhere else right now. It feels like home to us.
