New Apna Mens Parlour

New Apna Mens Parlour is situated at Shop No. 01 in the Shantirath Building. We are located right at Shivaji Chowk in Nashik, which is a very busy part of town. There is almost always the sound of traffic and horns outside our door. Most people find us by looking for M M Hardware and Paints, which is right across the road. Our shop is a standard mens parlour with heavy chairs that lean back for shaves. We have large mirrors that cover one whole side of the room. Our tools like razors, brushes, and combs are kept on a small trolley that we roll between the chairs. The floor is made of plain stone tiles. When it rains during the monsoon, it gets a bit messy as people walk in with wet shoes. We spend time every day cleaning our equipment and making sure the towels are ready for use. There is not much in the way of decoration here, just a calendar and a small area for customers to leave their bags and coats. It is a place where men from the neighborhood come to catch up on the local news or just sit for a few minutes while they get a trim. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Shivaji Chowk. We have a routine of opening up early and staying until the street finally quietens down in the late evening. We just focus on the task in front of us until the last customer leaves.
