M B Sugars & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Our office is in Lodha Bhuvan over on Santana Road. M B Sugars & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has been here for a good while. We do a lot of work with sugar, but not just the kind you put in tea. We make specialized sugar for medicines. It has to be very clean and a specific size, so the machines have to be set just right. The building at Lodha Bhuvan isn't brand new, but it works for what we need. It gets pretty hot in the summer and the air conditioning struggles sometimes. We have people working in the lab and others handling the shipping. It is a bit of a niche business. Most people don't think about the sugar in their pills, but we do. We spend our days looking at tiny grains and making sure the batches aren't lumpy. Santana Road is a decent area but the traffic can be a real pain in the afternoons. Inside the office, it's mostly the sound of keyboards and people discussing the latest pharma regulations. We have a lot of long-term staff who have been with us through various changes. It is a lot of routine work, checking temperatures and moisture levels. We just try to keep things moving without too much fuss. It is steady work and it keeps the lights on and everyone busy while we manage the daily load of orders.
