Jain Traders

Jain Traders is situated at 314, Mahalaxmi Road, right in the heart of Lalchowk in Nashik. This part of the city is always buzzing with people and vehicles, so there’s never a dull moment. Our shop is quite narrow and goes back a long way, filled to the ceiling with all sorts of things we trade. It can be a bit of a maze if you don't know where everything is kept. My brother and I have been running the place since our father retired, and not much has changed in terms of how we do things. We still use the same old wooden counter and the heavy iron safe. Nashik is a great city, and being on Mahalaxmi Road means we see all sorts of people every day. We don't really do any fancy promotion or have a presence on the internet. People just know we are here at number 314. Sometimes it gets so crowded in the shop that customers have to wait on the sidewalk. We try to be quick, but we also like to take a minute to ask how someone’s family is doing. It’s that kind of place. The walls are covered in old calendars and some dusty shelves that haven't been cleared in years. It’s not a polished corporate office, just a local business where we work hard and hope for a good day’s trade.
