You can find Jai Raghuveer Hair Salons over at Vrundavan Sankul, Shop No 2. We are right on Makhmalabad Road in the Panchavati area of Nashik. We are quite close to the Peer Baba Darga, so most people use that to find us if they are new. But most of our customers are not new. They have been coming to this shop for years. It is a small place and we have to keep things organized so it doesn't feel too crowded. We have the typical barber chairs and a few shelves for the bottles and creams. It’s a simple life working here. We start early in the morning and stay open until the street gets quiet. Nashik has a lot of traffic and we hear the horns all day long from the road. The shop is a place where men come to get a quick cut and chat for a bit. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening in the market. It’s not a corporate office, just a local hair shop. We keep the scissors moving and the combs clean. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low but we manage. It’s been our livelihood for a long time. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay steady. There is nothing more to it than that. Just a shop on the corner doing its thing every single day.
