Indian Tea House

Indian Tea House is located in the Ashirvad Complex, specifically at G-3. You have to go behind the Vijay Stambh to find us. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, which is actually nice because it stays a little quieter than the main road. The complex has a few other shops, but we’re the ones with the tea smell coming out the door. We spend a lot of time inside the shop, just moving things around and organizing the different grades of tea we have in stock. It’s not a very big space, so we have to use every inch of the walls for storage. We’ve got some old metal racks that hold all the different containers. Sometimes it takes a while to find exactly what we’re looking for, but we know where everything is eventually. Behind Vijay Stambh is a good landmark for people to find us, though sometimes visitors get a little turned around in the complex. We just sit here and wait for the regulars to come by. There’s a small stool by the door where I usually sit when there’s no work to do. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve been that color for years and it feels like home now. We just do our business here, keeping things simple and practical for everyone who walks into G-3.
