Our school is out on Air Force Road in the HAL area of Ojhar, near Nashik. The zip code is 422207. It’s an interesting spot because you can often hear the sounds from the airfield nearby. The school follows the CBSE curriculum, so our days are filled with the standard subjects and exams that come with that. The building is spread out and we have some open space where the kids can run around when it’s not too hot. Nashik weather is usually okay, but the afternoons in Ojhar can get quite bright. We don't have any slick marketing teams; we just have teachers and staff who show up every morning. We spend a lot of time on the basics, like making sure the classrooms are clean and the school bus is on schedule. It’s a practical environment. You won't find any over-the-top decorations here. Most of the walls have student projects or maps pinned to them. We see a lot of families who work nearby at the HAL factory or in the local services. It feels like a small town within a town. We go through the year doing the usual things like sports days and annual functions, which are always a bit of a scramble to organize. It’s just a regular school where people come together to learn and work without any big fuss or complicated mission statements. We like it that way.
