I’ve been around Deolali High School for a while now. It’s right there on Plot No 78 along Dhondy Road. Nashik has that specific morning air, you know? The school gets busy early. You see the kids walking in, some dragging their bags, others running because they’re late. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything, just a solid building that’s been part of Deolali for years. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running. The classrooms have that old wooden desk smell sometimes. Teachers are usually busy in the staff room, drinking tea and looking over homework piles. It gets loud during recess, obviously. That's when everyone heads to the grounds. We deal with the usual stuff like a squeaky door or needing a fresh coat of paint here and there. It’s just how it is. People in the neighborhood know us well. They pass by on their way to work. Sometimes the traffic on Dhondy Road gets a bit backed up when school lets out in the afternoon. We try to manage the gates so it's not too chaotic. It’s a lot of work, keeping a school going day after day. There’s always a bell ringing for something. You get used to the rhythm of it. It’s just our local school, nothing more, nothing less. We’re just here doing what we do every day, year after year, without much fuss. It's a steady life.
