Barnes School And Junior College

Our school is situated at Devlali Camp, right on Barnes School Road in Deolali, Nashik. This area has a lot of history to it, being a camp area, and you can feel that when you walk around the grounds. The buildings for Barnes School And Junior College have that older style, which gives the place a bit of character that you don't see in newer cities. It’s a quiet part of Nashik, away from the main city's noise, which is good for a school environment. We have the junior college here too, so there is a wide range of ages on the campus. The trees around the property are quite old and provide a lot of shade during the hot months. Most of us who work here enjoy the walk down Barnes School Road in the mornings. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s a nice start to the day. The classrooms are spacious, though they definitely show their age in some spots. We don't try to hide that because it's part of the school's identity. There is a lot of space for the students to move around, which is lucky. People in Deolali know the name well since it’s been a fixture here for such a long time. It’s a simple life at the school, following the bell and the term dates. We just keep doing what we’ve been doing for years, right here at the camp.
