Fresh Soda

You can find Fresh Soda over in Ward No- 8A, right at Sharda Chowk. We are very close to Sharda Mandir, so we get a lot of people stopping in after they visit the temple. The shop is tucked away in a spot that gets a good amount of shade in the afternoons, which is a relief when the sun is out. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work with what we have. Most of the day is spent checking the machines and making sure the syrups are ready. We handle everything ourselves, from unloading the trucks to cleaning the floor at night. It’s a basic operation. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or big advertisements because everyone in the neighborhood already knows where we are. We see the same faces every day and that’s the best part of being here. The noise from the Chowk is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just focus on the work at hand. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by. Other days, we can barely keep up with the people coming in. It’s just the way it goes when you run a small shop near a busy landmark. We’re just regular people trying to do a decent job every day.
