Cafe Coffee Day

Our branch is in the Ramjaya Building over in Mahatma Nagar. It is a good location because we are right near Bhosla Military School and we see the students and their families all the time. The building is easy to find and there is usually enough space for people to park their scooters outside. We spend a lot of our shift behind the counter making drinks and cleaning up the sugar that people spill. Mahatma Nagar is a nice neighborhood and it feels pretty safe and friendly around here. We have some big couches where people like to sit and talk for hours. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the school lets out but we are used to the noise by now. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, put on our aprons, and start the machines up for the day. The light in the afternoon comes through the front windows and makes the whole place feel warm. We try to keep the bathroom clean and the napkins stocked up. It is not a complicated job but it keeps us busy. We see all sorts of people, from business folks in suits to teenagers hanging out. We just want to make sure the place is open on time and the coffee is hot when someone asks for it. That is all there is to it.
