It’s just us here at AK Foods And Beverages (Opc) Private Limited. We operate out of a row house, specifically number 4 in the Saimangala area near Bhavganga Society in Nashik. It’s a decent spot in K Wada. The workspace is part of where we live and breathe the business every day. We don’t have a big fancy glass building or a receptionist. Usually, it’s just the sound of crates or phones ringing. Running a food and beverage business from a row house has its own rhythm. We spend a lot of time sorting out the logistics and making sure everything is where it needs to be. Nashik is a good place for this kind of work. The surroundings are quiet enough that we can focus, but we’re close enough to the main parts of town to get things done. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. Every day is a bit different. Some mornings we are out early, other days we are stuck with the books. It is honest work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just handle food products and drinks. If you walk by Saimangala, you’ll see our place. It looks like a regular home because it mostly is, just with a lot more work happening inside. We like it that way. Sometimes we have tea together before the afternoon rush starts. It’s just the way we’ve always done it here in Nashik. We keep things moving.
