Shri Sundha Mateshwari Bhojnalay

Our bhojnalay is located in the Old Mondha area of Nanded. We are quite close to Hotel Suraj Kanwar, which is a well-known spot around here. This part of Nanded is always busy with traders and people coming to the market. We have a very simple place where we serve basic meals every day. There are no air conditioners or fancy chairs here. It’s just a room with enough space for people to sit down and eat. We open up early because the market starts moving long before the sun is high. We prepare the same kinds of dishes every day, using the local produce we get from the nearby stalls. It’s a lot of hard work in the kitchen, especially with the heat from the stoves. We don't have any big signs or posters outside. People who work in the Mondha know where we are and they come by when they are hungry. We try to keep the food simple and the prices where people can afford them. It’s a family business and we've been doing this for years. Sometimes it gets very crowded during the peak market hours and everyone has to squeeze in a bit. We don't mind the rush, it keeps us busy. If you find yourself in Old Mondha and need a meal, you can find us easily enough near the hotel. We just keep doing our work day after day, year after year, serving whoever walks through our door.
