If you walk down Phule Market Road in Nanded, you’ll see us right in the middle of all the noise. Sagar Bhojanalay is basically a small place where people come to eat when they’re tired from shopping or working in the market. We open early to get things ready because the market starts moving fast. It’s just a plain room with tables and chairs, nothing special to look at really. My family has been doing this for a long time. Most of the people who come here are workers from the nearby shops or folks coming from other villages to buy things in Phule Market. The kitchen is always busy and it gets a bit smoky in there when the cooking starts. There isn't a big menu, just the usual things people want to eat for lunch or dinner. Sometimes we run out of stuff if it’s a particularly busy market day. That's just how it goes. The street outside is always full of carts and people shouting, so it’s never quiet here. No fancy machines are used, just old pots and pans that have seen better days. It's a lot of hard work standing on your feet all day, but that’s how it is in this business. Most people know where we are because we've been on this same corner forever. It’s just a simple bhojanalay for regular people needing a meal. We serve water in steel tumblers and the plates are always being washed in the back.
