Vudugu Anjaiah

My name is Vudugu Anjaiah and I run this small place in Gurijala village. It is located in the Shaligourarm area of Telangana. I have lived here most of my life and people know me around these parts. I started doing this work because I wanted to stay in my own village instead of moving to the big city for a job. It is a simple setup we have here. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. Mostly people find us by asking around or just walking in because they know the family name. The work changes depending on the season and what people in the village need help with at the time. Sometimes things are slow, especially during the heavy rains when nobody wants to come out. Other times it is very busy and I have to work late into the evening. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out from time to time. We keep things basic and try to help our neighbors as much as we can. It’s not a corporate business with a lot of rules. We just do the work and hope people are satisfied with it. Life in the village is quiet and that is how I like it. My shop is a place where people can come, sit for a minute, and get what they need without any fuss. It's just honest work in a small place and it keeps us going every day.
