Vivekananda Junior College

Vivekananda Junior College is located in the New Town area of Thipparthi, which is part of the Nalgonda district. We’re tucked away a bit, but most people around here know exactly where we are. It’s a junior college, so we’re mostly dealing with students who are in those two crucial years before they head off to university. The building is a simple structure with enough rooms for our different streams. We have a few labs that are used pretty regularly, though they aren't the most modern ones you'll ever see. The staff here is mostly local, and we all know each other well. During the day, it's fairly quiet in the office until the bells ring for the break. We spend a lot of time helping students with their intermediate exam preparations. There’s a lot of focus on the textbooks and making sure everyone understands the material before the big tests come around. The surroundings are pretty typical for Thipparthi—nothing too flashy, just a regular town setting. We have a small area out front where students gather in the morning. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that; we just open the doors every morning and get to work. Most of our students come from the local farms or small businesses in the Nalgonda area, and we just try to give them a decent education in a way that makes sense.
