Sri Prathibha Girls College

In the town of Bhongir, our college stands as a quiet place for the local girls to come and study. Sri Prathibha Girls College is not a massive institution with glass walls or shiny floors. It is a functional building that has seen a lot of use over the years. We are located right in the heart of Bhongir, so it is easy for everyone to find us. The daily routine starts early when we unlock the main doors and start the motor for the water. We have several classrooms that are usually packed during the middle of the day. The furniture is simple, mostly wooden benches and some metal desks for the teachers. We do not have a lot of frills here. The staff spends their time marking papers and talking about the day's lessons in a small back room. Sometimes the cows wander near the entrance, and we have to shoo them away so the students can get inside. It is a very local way of life. We manage our own accounts and handle all the inquiries at the window. There are no corporate brochures; if you want to know something, you just ask us directly. We try to keep the place clean, though the dust from the Bhongir roads always finds its way inside. It is just how things are here in our college.
