Joseph Sriharsha And Mary Indraja College is located right near the bus stand in Pochampalle, Deshmukhi, within the Nalgonda district. Being so close to the bus stand is a big help for our students because many of them travel from nearby villages to get here. If the bus is late, the class usually waits a few minutes before starting. The college isn't a high-rise building; it’s a sprawling place with plenty of room for students to move around between their lectures. We focus on higher education, so the atmosphere is a bit more serious than a primary school, but it still feels like a local community. Nalgonda can be very dry and dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the hallways and trying to keep the place tidy. We don't have a lot of fancy stuff like digital smartboards in every room. We use what we have—blackboards, notebooks, and a lot of talking. The professors are local people who understand the challenges these students face. Some of them have to help their families with farming after they finish their classes for the day. We try to be flexible when we can with the schedule. It’s a practical place for people who want to improve their lives. We don't have a PR department or anyone to make us look more important than we are. We are just a college near a bus stand, helping young people get their degrees so they can find work.
