Veeraswamy Transport

Veeraswamy Transport is operated from our home at H No 7-23 in Ogodu village. We are part of the Nakrekal area, which is a busy spot for moving goods around. My house is easy to find because there’s usually a truck parked near the entrance. I handle the logistics, which mostly means sitting at my wooden desk and taking calls from people who need stuff moved to the next town. My brother and a couple of cousins do most of the driving. It’s a family thing. We’ve had the business going for a few years now. The roads around Ogodu can be quite bumpy, so the vehicles need a lot of maintenance. We do most of the repairs ourselves right here in the yard to save on costs. It’s a lot of grease and hard work. Sometimes we stay up late into the night finishing a repair so the truck can leave at dawn. We don't have any big marketing plans or a fancy office. We just do the work and try to keep the trucks in good shape. The fuel prices are always a worry, but we manage to keep going. It’s a practical business for a practical life. People know they can find us at 7-23 if they need a load moved. We just take it one day at a time, moving whatever needs moving across the district. It is honest work for our family.
