Sri Kranthi Junior College

Sri Kranthi Junior College is situated near the sub-station in Kondamalle Pally. This is in the Devarakonda area of Nalgonda district. You can see the college from the road and it’s a familiar landmark for the people living around here. Since we are a junior college, we deal with a lot of teenagers who are just finishing their school years and trying to figure out what to do next. The atmosphere is usually quite energetic and loud. We have a main office where the principal and the clerks sit, and there are always heaps of papers and registers on the tables. The classrooms have basic furniture and we use traditional chalkboards for the lessons. It gets quite hot in Nalgonda during the summer months, so the fans are always running at full speed. We don't have a big canteen or anything like that, so students usually bring their own lunch or buy something from the local shops nearby. The staff here is quite practical; they don't use a lot of fancy words and they just get on with the teaching. We focus on the syllabus and making sure the students are ready for their board exams. It’s a simple setup that has served the local community for a while now. There’s nothing too fancy about it, just a regular place for regular students to come and learn their subjects every day until the evening bell rings.
