Sri Gayatri Junior College

We are tucked away in Miryalaguda, which is part of the Nalgonda area. It is a standard junior college where local students spend their intermediate years. Most days start early here because the students have a lot of ground to cover before their final exams come around. You can see groups of teenagers walking through the gates every morning, usually carrying heavy bags and talking about their next class. The classrooms are basic, with the usual benches and boards you would expect. It gets pretty hot in this part of Telangana, so the fans are always going full blast during the afternoon. We have been here for a bit now, and we see students from all the nearby villages coming in by bus. There isn't anything too fancy about the building, it’s just a place for learning and getting through the syllabus. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is out for their break, but that is just how it goes in a busy college. The staff here mostly just focus on getting the lessons finished on time. We don't really do much in the way of big events, we just keep things moving along. If you are looking for us, we are right in the middle of town, so most people can point you in the right direction. It’s a plain place, but it serves the community here well enough and keeps the kids busy for those two important years of school.
