Mekala Muttamma

My name is Mekala Muttamma and I do my work right from my home, which is H. No. 4-49 in Ramchandrapuram. It’s a small village in the Kangal area, part of the district here in T. S. and I’ve lived here for a long time. People around here know me and my family, so they just stop by whenever they need something. I don't have a big shop with signs or anything fancy. It’s just a part of my house that I use for my business. Living in a village means things aren't always fast. Sometimes the power goes out or it’s hard to get things from the town, but we just deal with it. I handle everything myself, from talking to people to keeping track of what’s what. I started this because I wanted to do something useful while staying close to home. It’s not a big company with workers, just me doing my daily tasks. When it’s harvest time, things get a bit quiet because everyone is out in the fields, but otherwise, there is always someone coming by for a chat or to ask for help. I like the quiet life here in Ramchandrapuram. It’s where I belong and where I get my daily tasks done. I don't need a big office in the city to be happy with what I’m doing every day. It’s just a simple life and a simple way to help the neighbors in our village.
