Meena Travels

Meena Travels has its base at H. No. 1-283 in Seethala Thanda, which is part of Paleannaram Village in the Chilukuru Mandal area. This is a rural spot, and the pin code for our district is 508238. Running a travel business from a thanda means we are very connected to the local community. We do not have a big corporate office with glass walls. Instead, it is a simple place where people can come to talk about their travel plans or book a vehicle. Often, the conversations happen right outside or in the main room of the house. We know the roads around here very well, including all the shortcuts through the villages. Most of the work involves coordinating drivers and making sure the vehicles are in good shape for the long trips. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing, and other times it is very quiet. We deal with all kinds of people, from neighbors heading to a wedding to someone needing a ride to the city. It is a local service and we keep it very informal. We do not use any fancy booking software; we just keep track of things in a ledger or on a basic mobile phone. It is a busy life but we enjoy being part of the village and helping people get where they need to go. We just take things one trip at a time and do our best.
