Marutamma Palle

Up here in Thipparthy, life goes by at its own pace. Our place is at H. No. 4-48/1, right in the village where everyone knows each other by their first names. Marutamma Palle is not a big corporation with tall buildings or many departments. It is more about the daily routine and seeing the neighbors as they pass by. We have been here for a good while, and the house serves as our base for everything we do. The district of T.S. is quite dry during the summer months, so we spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and managing whatever comes our way. There is no front desk or a receptionist greeting you at the door. You just walk up and call out to whoever is inside. Sometimes we are busy with chores or helping out someone nearby, so you might have to wait a minute. The walls have been painted a few times but the sun fades them out eventually. We do not use any fancy machines to keep track of things, just a pen and a bit of paper when needed. It is a simple setup because that is all we really need. Most of our days are spent talking to people from the surrounding farms and seeing what needs attention. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from dawn until the sun goes down over the fields nearby.
