Dara Jayanthi Transport

This transport business is run right from our home in Kurumarthy village. We have been in Kattangoor for many years now. It started out with just one vehicle and now we handle different types of loads for the local farmers and businesses in Telangana. My house at H. No. 4-87/1 is where we keep the records and where the drivers come to get their schedules. It’s a lot of long hours on the road for the guys. I spend a lot of time on the phone making sure the trucks are in the right place and that the goods are moving. Traffic can be a real headache sometimes and the roads aren't always great, but we get through it. We aren't some big logistics corporation with hundreds of trucks. We are a family-run thing and we care about our neighbors. If a truck breaks down, we are out there fixing it ourselves. Sometimes it gets stressful when there are delays, but that’s just the nature of the transport business. My wife helps with the paperwork in the evenings after she finishes her other chores. We don't have fancy logos or big ads. People just know our name because we’ve been driving these roads for so long. It is hard work and the diesel prices always go up, but we keep the wheels turning anyway.
