Saint Josephs College

Saint Josephs College is up in the hills of Nainital, and the first thing you notice is usually the weather. It can get quite cold here, especially in the winter months when the mist rolls in over the mountains. The college building is old and has a lot of character, the kind of place that feels like it has been part of the landscape forever. We are at 263001, and living and working here is very different from being down in the plains. Everything is on a slope, and you do a lot of walking up and down hills just to get from one building to another. The students here are used to the mountain life. It is a quiet place for the most part, except when the bell rings and everyone is moving around. We have the usual stuff like classrooms and a place for sports, though the ground can be a bit uneven because of where we are located. People in Nainital know us well because we have been here so long. We do not go for anything too modern or flashy; we just keep the place running and make sure the students have what they need for their lessons. It is a peaceful spot to spend your college years, away from the chaos of the big cities. The air is fresh, even if the walk up the hill makes you a little out of breath sometimes.
