Valley Of Flowers

We are located at the VCA Complex in Shop No 20, right by the cricket stadium in Civil Lines. It’s a pretty well-known area in Sadar. Being near the stadium means it gets really busy whenever there’s a match or an event going on. We named the place Valley Of Flowers and that’s basically what we deal with every day. It’s a lot of lifting crates and making sure things stay fresh. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. Civil Lines is a nice part of town, even if the parking is a nightmare sometimes. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with flowers and events means our hands are always dirty or wet. We don't wear fancy clothes to work. We’re mostly in jeans and old shirts. It’s a practical business. We’ve got a lot of regulars who just drop by because they know we’re here. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just take the orders and try to get the arrangements right. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of bloom and have to scramble. That’s just life in a flower shop. The stadium is a big landmark for us. If people get lost looking for us, we just tell them to head for the cricket grounds. It’s a decent place to spend the day.
