Vaishnavi Driving School

We set up this driving school right on Gangabai Ghat Road. It is a busy part of Nagpur, especially being so close to the GPO area. Most mornings we start early before the traffic gets too heavy for the new students. Learning to drive in this city takes some patience, so we try to keep things calm. We have a couple of cars that we use every day. They aren't brand new but they work well for learners who might stall a lot or hit the curb now and then. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors. Some are young kids getting their first license and others are older folks who finally decided it’s time to stop taking the bus everywhere. The office is pretty basic, just enough space to handle the paperwork for the licenses. We spend most of our time out on the road anyway. If the weather is bad, we still go out because people need to learn how to drive in the rain too. It’s just a regular local business. We don't do big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or friends who learned here. It feels good to see someone who was terrified on day one finally driving away on their own. We keep the rates fair so folks around here can afford it without much trouble. We just stay focused on the driving and don't worry about the rest. It’s been our home for years.
